"SOROS, SOROS, SOROS"

My GOD, am I sick and tired of the rights favorite guilt-by-association target, SOROS' name (nothing against Mr. Soros). They toss his name around, this election season, more that ever to attack the left.

I realize the average age in the GOP is over the age for onset of SENILE DEMENTIA, but come on.
And they always magically, in their hazed logic, FORGET that Mr. McCain has a LONG history of association with George.

The names WorldNetDaily or Jerome R. Corsi sound familiar?

"John McCain funded by Soros since 2001." (1)
"George Soros brains behind McCain-Feingold" (2)

And NO, I'm NOT one of these 'guilt-by-association' conspiracy NUTS, NOR do I think there is a thing wrong with George Soros, I just feel it is time to SHUT THEM UP!

Fair Tax - Progressive?

I have been on this "Fair Tax" kick as of late and I am having problems finding issues with it.  What do you guys think?

Obama Launches KeatingEconomics.com - Full Documentary Coming Soon.

Jesus Christ... This is just brilliant. They aren't even reacting, they've been planning this. The site says that there will be a full documentary at noon tomorrow. They even registered the domain name back on September 25th. McCain's people can't compete with this. Not only that, but the angle they are taking makes the incident relevant by tying it directly to the most current, most politically volatile situation, so they've instantly made this more damaging and more relatable than McCain's unfocused accusations of knowing bad people. AND that strategy gives them an argument against John McCain's primary defense, that he learned his lesson. Because now McCain has been running with the same crowd. He hasn't cleaned up his act, he just found out how to hide it.

They've essentially pulled a Bugs Bunny cannon trick. John McCain's people yell to ready the cannons, and then immediately Obama's ship opens up and reveals cannons about twice the size. Whatever misgivings I once had about this campaign have long been alleviated.

The current economic crisis demands that we understand John McCain's attitudes about economic oversight and corporate influence in federal regulation. Nothing illustrates the danger of his approach more clearly than his central role in the savings and loan scandal of the late '80s and early '90s.

. . . .

The Keating scandal is eerily similar to today's credit crisis, where a lack of regulation and cozy relationships between the financial industry and Congress has allowed banks to make risky loans and profit by bending the rules. And in both cases, John McCain's judgment and values have placed him on the wrong side of history.

Joe McCain: Virginia is "Communist Country".

Short, but sweet.  Here's just another sign of the overall McCain implosion.  I've hardly been aware of McCain's brother.  hope we'll be hearing a lot more from him.

Republican presidential candidate John McCain's brother made an apparent joke at a campaign rally this weekend that might not play well in parts of newly competitive Virginia.

Joe McCain, speaking at an event in support of his brother, called two Democratic-leaning areas in Northern Virginia "communist country," according to a report on The Washington Post's Web site.

"I've lived here for at least 10 years and before that about every third duty I was in either Arlington or Alexandria, up in communist country," Joe McCain said at an event in Loudon County, Va.

- snip -

"This was Joe McCain's unsuccessful attempt at humor," said McCain campaign spokeswoman Gail Gitcho. "John McCain and Sarah Palin are committed to winning the support of voters in Northern Virginia and understand the region's importance to victory statewide."

Meanwile, Virginia GOP fears McCain can lose the state, according to front page story on Politico: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/100 8/14285.html

Asked if he thought McCain was taking the state seriously enough, Davis paused before saying: "I think they're going to."

And where does John "The Maverick (TM)" McCain live when working in Washington?  Why, his luxurious Arlington condo, right in the heart of commie country.  Wonder if he's been tainted?

This just can't be helpful.  Heh.

The Invasion of Draenor

As the fires of the Second War died down, the Alliance took aggressive steps to contain the orcish threat. A number of large internment camps, meant to house the captive orcs, were constructed in southern Lordaeron. Guarded by both the paladins and the veteran soldiers of the Alliance, the camps proved to be a great success. Though the captive orcs were tense and anxious to do battle once more, the various camp wardens, based at the old prison-fortress of Durnholde, kept the peace and maintained a strong semblance of order. wow gold

However, on the hellish world of Draenor, a new orcish army prepared to strike at the unsuspecting Alliance. Ner'zhul, the former mentor of Gul'dan, rallied the remaining orc clans under his dark banner. Aided by the Shadowmoon clan, the old shaman planned to open a number of portals on Draenor that would lead the Horde to new, unspoiled worlds. To power his new portals, he needed a number of enchanted artifacts from Azeroth. To procure them, Ner'zhul reopened the Dark Portal and sent his ravenous servants charging through it. wow power leveling

The new Horde, led by veteran chieftains such as Grom Hellscream and Kilrogg Deadeye (of the Bleeding Hollow clan), surprised the Alliance defense forces and rampaged through the countryside. Under Ner'zhul's surgical command, the orcs quickly rounded up the artifacts that they needed and fled back to the safety of Draenor. cheapest wow gold

King Terenas of Lordaeron, convinced that the orcs were preparing a new invasion of Azeroth, assembled his most trusted lieutenants. He ordered General Turalyon and the archmage, Khadgar, to lead an expedition through the Dark Portal to put an end to the orcish threat once and for all. Turalyon and Khadgar's forces marched into Draenor and repeatedly clashed with Ner'zhul's clans upon the ravaged Hellfire Peninsula. Even with the aid of the high elf Alleria Windrunner, the dwarf Kurdran Wildhammer, and the veteran soldier Danath Trollbane, Khadgar was unable to prevent Ner'zhul from opening his portals to other worlds. warhammer gold

Ner'zhul finally opened his portals to other worlds, but he did not foresee the terrible price he would pay. The portals' tremendous energies began to tear the very fabric of Draenor apart. As Turalyon's forces fought desperately to return home to Azeroth, the world of Draenor began to buckle in upon itself. Grom Hellscream and Kilrogg Deadeye, realizing that Ner'zhul's mad plans would doom their entire race, rallied the remaining orcs and escaped back to the relative safety of Azeroth. warhammer gold

On Draenor, Turalyon and Khadgar agreed to make the ultimate sacrifice by destroying the Dark Portal from their side. Though it would cost their lives, and the lives of their companions, they knew that it was the only way to ensure Azeroth's survival. Even as Hellscream and Deadeye hacked their way through the human ranks in a desperate bid for freedom, the Dark Portal exploded behind them. For them, and the remaining orcs on Azeroth, there would be no going back. cheap wow gold
Ner'zhul and his loyal Shadowmoon clan passed through the largest of the newly created portals, as massive volcanic eruptions began to break Draenor's continents apart. The burning seas rose up and roiled the shattered landscape as the tortured world was finally consumed in a massive, apocalyptic explosion.

Keep Working - This is far from over!

I am running into way too many people who are slacking off and just assuming that Obama is going to win.  Please don't be fooled by the recent bump in the polls.  I know it will anger most here to hear the truth but the simple truth is all the financial mess helped Obama tremendously and I fear that the effect will wear off soon.

At this point in 2004 Kerry lead in the polls by about the same margin that Obama leads now (and we know what happened on Election Day) [October 7, 2004 Poll inside]

Hannity Recruits Anti-Semite to Smear Obama

With the Republican slime machine cranking up, the crazies are coming out of the woodwork to smear Barack Obama. And there is no one too sleazy for Sean Hannity to invite to do the dirty work. According to Talking Points Memo, Hannity invited the notious Andy artin to slime Obama.

Intellect and Temperament on the Road to Health Care Reform

When Charles Krauthammer writes something even remotely complimentary about a Senator he believes is far to the left of left, it's worthy of serious examination.  So Krauthammer's crediting "Cool Barry" with "both a first-class intellect and a first-class temperament," in a recent syndicated column sends a clear signal that the Obama campaign must be doing something right.  Or maybe all John McCain's talk about the liberal ideologue he's running against is just another Hail Mary pass thrown into the wrong end zone.

Are McCain and Palin right in their claim that the Obama-Biden health care reform plan is an ultra-liberal giant step on the road to socialized medicine?  Or is the plan merely an ill-conceived abandonment of the far left's fight for a government-run single-payer system?  Or is it a clever political ploy to hide Obama's real agenda, whatever that may be?  Or is it an example of the realistic approach to solving a complex problem one would expect from a leader with a first-class intellect and a first class political temperament?
